Through our Community Chest funding, we distribute small grants to local organisations who want to run activities in Hackney Wick. Chair Disco is one of these - it’s a seated exercise session with a difference, held weekly at Adelaide Court.

Community Chest funds aid community cohesion, as you can see in this short film of The Seniors Tea Dance - a glamorous, intergenerational, cake-filled extravaganza held by the Trowbridge Seniors Club.

Wick Award provides small grants to local organisations. One such group is the Hackney Wick Forest Explorers. Their aim is to get children outside as much as possible, to play and to learn.

Wick Award has also collaborated with local residents and the Felix Project to organise a weekly community lunch at Gascoyne Community Hall.
