Sound barriers on Mabley Green along A12 for better health and safety conditions.
Hackney Council conducted the survey about level of noise on Mabley Green and level of noise is very high, unhealthy. Noise barries would improve health conditions and use of Mabley Green would be much more pleasant.

A work/play space where carers and kids can develop themselves creatively and independently. Together but separate. The space would allow parents to work, or relax while overlooking their kids participating in ART workshops provided by other parents.
The idea nurtures individual physical and mental space to support quality time together

Install lighting along the canal ! British waterways say they have no money to do it – I asked ! It’s pitch black !!

Light up the canal path to make it safer for all or put it into getting local markets in the area food etc or put it toward a great gastro pub!!!

How about some funky or arty lighting to the canal on either side of Roach point footbridge up to Cadogan terrace and white post lane. It would look good and make it much safer at night.

Build a Bridge across the canal as a symbol to connect the Olympics village to Hackney Wick. Acquire More funding to place training facility near/on the olympic specifically for training the locals to get paid to maintain the village. Which should eventually self-sustain.

I’d like to see a row of large trees planted along the A12 in Mabley Green to hide the road. It wouldn’t use much of the money, it would soften the sound and make Mabley Green more pleasant!

Spend it on Homerton.

I think we should set up substantial community gardens, get some beautiful fruit/veg/herbs growing where we can all take part and reap the delicious rewards.

Ensure all empty & run down buildings are renovated and put in use for community projects. The improvements could be part of a community project itself, with local people having their say on what the needs are & what they can contribute to creating them.

The roads around the Wick Ward area are in very poor condition. There is a drain on one road that is so raised it hit the bottom of my car and knocked out my gears. Having said that It would be a shame to spend this grant on something the council should be paying for anyway.
